Justin Natividad‘s “Subtle Gestures” solo exhibition at VillageOne Art opened on Thursday, October 6th, 2022. The artist joined the opening night to talk and share his ideas with the audiences. The show is free and opened to the public, and will be opened until November 5th.

Cordy Ryman at Opening Night

We are honored that artist Cordy Ryman was here for the “Subtle Gestures” opening night. He reflects on Natividad’s grasp of figuration and representation in his paintings. “In his paintings you can clearly see a highly developed eye, a sharp mind, a sensitivity to materials,” remarks Ryman. “What strikes me when viewing his work is his capture of a fleeting, cathartic, existential pause, giving the viewer an unsettled pause and space for thought.”
