Sophia Chizuco Featured in CBS News

CBS New York features VillageOneArt collaborative artist Sophia Chizuco was in an experimental performance project in celebration of women.

This project designed for Women’s History Month,  combines visual art and dance as artists from different generations and backgrounds collaborate to lift one another. Sophia Chizuco worked with choreographer Sarah Marazzi-Sassoon used imagery of eggs to share a love of biology. A baby image is hidden in the costume worn by dancer Hannah Wineinger, whose interaction with the art suggests an organism coming to life.
