Emily Cheng to Join 14th Annual Shanghai Biennale

We are pleased to announce that our esteemed exhibiting artist, Emily Cheng will be joining the 14th Shanghai Biennale: “Cosmos Cinema”. “Cosmos Cinema” features artists from China and around the world, whose art explores constellations and the universe beyond Earth. The wide spectrum of work will explore and interpret the universe differently, and create a fuller understanding of the cosmos.

Emily’s work is defined by its distinctive brilliant hues and abstract beauty. Her astonishing ability to fluidly blend semiotics and visual images, generating profound links between people, nature, and the universe, is embodied in her art. Emily has been the recipient of several awards including the New York Foundation of the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Pollock Krasner Award, and a Yaddo Fellowship.
