Kristian Battell featured in The 2025 New Jersey Arts Annual Exhibition

We are proud to share that Kristian Battell has been selected for the exhibition Artist as Activist, on view from June 7 to August 2, 2025 at Rowan University Art Gallery & Museum, presented in partnership with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

This juried exhibition highlights over 20 New Jersey-based artists whose works engage with urgent social, political, and environmental issues. From sustainability and transportation to equity and public space, the show underscores how art can function as both reflection and action.

Kristian Battell’s practice explores systems of urban infrastructure, mobility, and ecological imagination through layered print-based installations. Her inclusion in this powerful exhibition affirms her commitment to using art as a tool for public discourse and change.
