Alayna Coverly is an artist working figuratively with oil paint. She holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from Ohio University, and an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art. Alayna’s work focuses on the complex, intimate relationships in her life that are affected by systemic patriarchal violence. She lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
In 2025, VillageOneArt presented Of Sound Mind, a solo exhibition of new paintings exploring the visual complexities of bodies entangled in motion — shrouded figures wrapped in decadent fabric, gesture caught mid-thought. Her first solo presentation with the gallery, Find Me, was held in 2024.
