Xinyu Wo (b. 1996, Ningbo, China) is a visual artist who works between Shanghai and New York. She received her BFA in oil painting from the China Academy of Art and is currently an MFA candidate at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her recent exhibition was held at East Gallery in Nanjing, where she was awarded the Kaiyuan Scholarship, and she received the Sponsor Special Prize at the Academic Original Creative Exhibition in Hangzhou and Beijing.

Working across short video, installation, and small-scale painting, Wo uses a surreal visual language to explore the spiritual connections between people in modern society, studying the collective subconscious through her personal history and social circumstance. Her paintings are held in the collection of the Kaiyuan company and in numerous private collections. Wo has exhibited with VillageOneArt since 2023, including her solo presentation Stay Heavens, Moral Law and, most recently, the gallery’s annual survey In the Mood For Love (2026).
