Lives and works in Beijing

Zhang Yanzi (b. 1967) was born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. She graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA), earning MFAs in both Chinese Painting and Literature. She is currently based in Beijing, where she works as a Professor, PhD, and Postgraduate Supervisor at CAFA.
Her solo exhibitions have been held at the Shanghai Art Museum, Today Art Museum, PAN – Palazzo delle Arti di Napoli, Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences, Surgeons’ Hall Museums, and the Museum of East Asian Art (MEAA), among others.
